Because of the new systems and build possibilities, interaction with equipment has been greatly reworked. In addition to attack/defense, attributes and number of card slots, the type of weapons are relevant in combat. For many classes, the type of weapon depends on and converges with the skills chosen for the character. The attack range of some weapons has also been revised, to make it more consistent with the purpose of each weapon (for example: some bows have more range than others; spears have more range, and some long swords have more range too).

All quest hats have been improved so that they are not merely aesthetic and are interesting to wear during combat. However, it is possible to transform a hat into cosmetic equipment with no attributes through an NPC.
